We are very pleased to announce that Hunter Smith of Frankland Estate will be in-store tomorrow night, between 4.00pm and 7.00pm, to take us through their range of exceptional wines for our Friday tasting.
Frankland Estate, like Old Bridge, is a family run business. Set up by Barrie Smith and Judi Cullam back in 1988, they are now assisted by their daughter Elizabeth Smith and son Hunter, and a small, passionate and hard working team.
Their approach to winemaking? The most significant characteristic of a wine come from the soil and the vineyard environment. They aim to reflect nature, not the hand of the winemaker. This is further aided by being certified as organic back in 2010, the wines Frankland estate produces are complex, with great intensity and depth of flavour.
Open tomorrow night will be….
Frankland Estate Rocky Gully Riesling 2014
Frankland Estate Rocky Gully Sauvignon Blanc 2014
Frankland Estate Rocky Gully Shiraz 2012
Frankland Estate Isolation Ridge Riesling 2013
Frankland Estate Isolation Ridge Shiraz 2012
Frankland Estate Isolation Ridge Cabernet 2012
This will be another cracking tasting! As always, free of charge and a few nibbles. Hope to see you all down here.
