Good Afternoon Bridgees,

For this Friday’s FREE wine tasting, we are super excited to announce that we will have James Halliday’s “Australian Winery of the Year 2016” Tabhilk winery out of Victoria .

Tahbilk, established in 1860, is Victoria’s oldest winery and one Australia’s most beautiful and historic wineries. Located in the Nagambie Lakes region of central Victoria, the property comprises of some 1214 hectares of rich river flats with a frontage of 11 kms to the Goulburn River.

The vineyard has some 200 hectares under vine which includes the rare French Rhone Valley white varieties Marsanne, Viognier and Roussanne, and the Rhone reds – Shiraz, Grenache and Mouvedre. They also have traditional plantings of Cabernet Sauvignon , Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Chardonnay, Riesling, Semillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Verdelho and the new age rising stars Tempranillo and Savagnin.

As a special treat, we have some local customers setting up a gourmet sausage sizzle out the front, including home-made caramelized onions and chilli sauce, all for $5, to support Oxfam, who provide solutions for people living in poverty. Yumm
