For this Friday’s FREE in-store tasting we will have open an exciting and eclectic range of wines, and a cheeky little cider.
The tasting will be hosting by Maria Murphy (Dip. Wine and Spirits), whom I first met when she was my lecturer while studying my WSET 2 and 3 courses.
Maria worked at the oldest retail wine store in Ireland, before making the move to Australia. She worked at a prominent wine wholesaler in Perth before joining the team at Grape and Grain in 2013, a small boutique family owned wholesaler.
Maria and I have selected some really fun products for tomorrow night, a sparkling Australian Zibibbo with flor yeast influences, 2 quirky co-fermented wines, a Riesling/Semillon and a 4 red varieties field blend to name a few.
Open tomorrow night will be….
St Ronan’s Methode Traditionelle Pear Cider , Yarra Valley, Victoria
Bind in Hand Sparkling Pinot Noir Vintage 2015, Adelaide Hills, South Australia
Brash Higgins Zibbibo 2015, Riverlands, South Australia
Brash Higgins R/SM Riesling/Semillon 2014, Mclaren Vale, South Australia
Yelland & Papps ‘Devote’ Shiraz Roussanne 2012, Barossa Valley, South Australia

As always, everything will be open from 4.00pm on Friday the 20th of November 2015 until 7.00pm here in-store at Old Bridge Cellars in North Fremantle.
See you down here,
