This Friday’s FREE wine tasting is all about “active non-interference”. A strange combination of words I know, but it represents the move by many vineyards to organics and biodynamics, along with minimal intervention and maximum attention in the wine making process.
We will have on tasting the family owned and operated “Battle of Bosworth” wines from McLaren Vale. Joch Bosworth stopped using chemicals on his vineyards in the vale in 1995, and now many other well-known brands such as Gemtree, Wirra Wirra and Walter Clappis all have organic vineyards. In fact, Mclaren Vale now boasts the largest concentration of certified and ‘in-conversion’ vineyards in Australia at close to 500 hectares.
We invite you to come down and try these fantastic wines this Friday the 10th of July between 4.00pm and 7.00pm.
Open will be…
Battle of Bosworth Chardonnay 2014
Battle of Bosworth Shiraz 2012
Battle of Bosworth Cabernet Sauvignon 2013
Battle of Bosworth ‘White Boar’ Shiraz Cabernet 2011
Battle of Bosworth ‘Clarence’ Sticky Semillon 2011
See you all down here!!
