Good Afternoon Bridgees,
For this Friday’s FREE wine tasting, we will be opening a special selection of ‘Old World’ wines from Italy.
Presenting these Italian wines will be Cyri Dureigne, a French born Italian Sommelier and Dockers fanatic, a quirky Old Bridge combo.
Cyri Dureigne was born and raised in the Armagnac producing region of Southern France, at age 15 he was selected out of 1600 applicants to attend a specialised French catering school in Toulouse. In his fourth year of studies he specialised in wine and spirits and at 19 he won 'French Young Bartender of the Year'. Following this he began his career as a Sommelier at some of the most prestigious hotels and manors in France and London. Since arriving in Australia in 1996, Cyri has completed a diploma of Wine and Marketing through the Wine and Spirit Education Trust in London.
