P.PRINCI BUTCHERS CHARCUTERIE MASTERCLASS. . .BY OLD BRIDGE CELLARS
Old Bridge Cellars is known for its wine education courses, tasting events and masterclasses and have recently opened a new space dedicated to just that.
‘. . . by Old Bridge’, located just down the road from the North Fremantle liquor store, is set to roll out a calendar of bespoke events that showcase food and wine in all its glory. . .because what else matters in life?
The first official event in the new space will see two local family businesses coming together to host a Charcuterie Masterclass, with P.Princi Butchers jumping on board to take guests on a charcuterie journey accompanied by a perfectly paired wine list on Thursday 10th August.
Guests will sit down to taste through six wines which have been carefully selected to match the regions of various Princi cold cuts, including their signature Cacciatore, Salami, and Prosciutto Parma. From the Northern regions of Milan and Parma to Sicily in the south, the pairings will tell a story as you taste your way through the Italian heritage, led by Princi’s own ‘Uncle Joe’ and Old Bridge Cellars’ wine guru, Jay Beeson.
Old Bridge Cellars Proprietor, Jay Beeson, says hosting events and sharing wine knowledge with those who are interested is at the core of their business.
“We are so pleased to finally be able to share ‘. . .by Old Bridge’ with everyone and what better way to kick things off than with a collaborative event with a like-minded family business, Princi Butchers,” said Jay.
Princi Butchers Owner, Joe Princi, believes it is important to provide his customers with more than just ‘meat’. Instead, it is his constant dedication and passion to ensure the taste is within the detail.
“Our business has been running for seven generations and the P. Princi family have mastered the butcher trade. We not only provide amazing quality, but an experience for all our customers,” says Joe. Uncle Joe describes his customers as family and appreciates them beyond measure as without their support he could not fulfil his ambitions for the business.
The ‘Princi Butchers Charcuterie Masterclass. . .by Old Bridge’ will be held on Thursday 10th August from 6pm. Tickets are $65/head (plus booking fee). Guests will also have the chance to win two $100 vouchers from both businesses on the night.
