Step 1: Are you a Slurper or a Sipper?

Slurpers seek out value wines they can enjoy on any occasion without breaking the bank. Sippers like to savour their wine, appreciating each nuanced drop.

Step 2: Team Red or Team White?

Perhaps a mix of both to keep everyone happy? You can include specific notes when checking out, or leave it up to the experts.

Step 3: Traditionalist or Adventurous

Are you a traditionalist when it comes to wine, no new-age nonsense? Or are you more adventurous and happy to try more out-of-the-box vinos? We can guarantee amazing wines in both categories.

Step 4: How many bottles?

How many bottles do you need to keep you sufficiently topped up? Remember your subscription will be delivered every three months, so choose wisely. 6 or 12?

Hosted by the Wine Education Centre...Come on a journey through Burgundy, from Chablis in the North through to Beaujolais in the South – distance of about 230 km’s.

You will discover the charms of Chardonnay and the Holy Grail of Pinot Noir. We will discuss labelling and the ‘terroir’ (coming together of geology, climate and variety) of the region and focus on the Appellations throughout Burgundy.

You will taste a range of seven wines from Regional AOP to Premier Cru AOP level. Cheese boards provided.

Join us for an unforgettable wine tasting event featuring traditional, lo-fi, and experimental wines from Chalari Wines. Partnering with the Wine Education Centre, Old Bridge Cellars proudly present Chalari's artistry alongside a delectable Greek-inspired canapé menu by local caterers, Rossen & Cook.

Starting humbly in 2017 with just a couple of tonnes of grapes and no winemaking heritage, Chalari has emerged as a pioneering force in the industry. Winemaker Alexi Christidis, rooted in strong Greek traditions, brings his heritage to life through traditional techniques and indigenous grape varieties, now calling Mt Barker in the Great Southern Wine Region home.

Experience a guided tasting with Alexi himself as you sample handcrafted wines meticulously selected from Chalari's collection. Each wine is expertly paired with six tantalizing canapé courses, infused with a Greek twist to complement the nuanced flavors of the wine.

Explore the wonderful world of sparkling wines. You will be guided through a range of the world's best sparkling wine styles including Champagne, Cava, Prosecco and others. Blair Hill DipWSET will discuss the regions of origin and the methods of production for each of the styles. There will be up to eight wines tasted throughout the two hour session and some premium cheese plates provided.

TWO new wines from one of our favourites...MARQ
Mar 20, 2024
Mark Warren gave us a call last year in a flurry of excitement to let us know he'd discovered the "most spectacular" parcel of Margaret River Shiraz and would we be interested in teaming up on something. Given we've been pestering him for a collab for years, our answer was of course YES.

Kind words from our happy customers...
One of, if not the best, bottle shops in Perth. Awesome selection of beers and wines and super helpful staff. Throw in the collection of local small goods and the appearance of delicious baked goods on a Friday and you have an absolute winner
Great selection of independent beers, a great spirits selection and well chosen wines as well. Free tastings every Friday evening, and they’re now stocking delicious local breads (Rottnest Bakery, Fridays only), cheeses and Portuguese custard tarts.
Just bloody awesome if ya love those crafty beers. The staff are rad always looking to offer a hand and advice. Insane variety of wines and spirits but it’s the beers and ciders that you can’t find anywhere else that have me hooked! All the south west brews you could hope for along with some other fantastic independent breweries! 5 stars!
Great local bottleshop with an awesome range and knowledgeable staff. Drop in on a Friday afternoon to pick up a North Street Store Cinnamon Scroll or some bread as well.
Best wine store ever! I’ve worked in the industry for quite a few years now and they have such a good range of varietals, price points and countries! Plus the staff are so friendly and the Friday night tastings are epic!
One of the best wine stores in Perth. They stock an ever changing and wide variety of interesting wines. Excellent selection of craft beers. Service is always 10/10 and you always feel welcome and enjoy the experience.
LOVE this bottleshop. The staff are always helpful and friendly. Friday night bakery night always delivers delicious food. They have great craft beer specials. Their gin selection is AMAZING. Since new management the appearance, styling and refurbishing has given it a completely different vibe and is so much more inviting.
Just visited this gem in North Freo. The staff made me feel so welcome and were so knowledgeable. They had a good selection of gins, were able to provide recommendations and were beyond helpful. Independent and killing it - This is my new go to!
