At Old Bridge Cellars, we believe every bottle has a story worth sharing.

Behind every wine, beer and spirit is a person, a family, a place and years of passion, craftsmanship and dedication. Our job isn't simply to fill shelves, it's to discover those stories, champion the people behind them and help our customers find products they'll genuinely love.

Whether you're searching for an easy-drinking, weeknight wine, a bottle to celebrate something special, or something completely different you've never tried before, we're here to make discovering great drinks enjoyable, approachable and memorable.

Old Bridge Cellars has been part of the North Fremantle community for decades, originally run by the late Gerry Smith, a respected figure in Western Australia's independent liquor industry. When the Beeson family took over in 2012, our goal was simple: honour the legacy while building on it by carefully curating our range, delivering genuine customer service and championing independent producers.

From the very beginning, we didn't set out to become the biggest bottle shop in Perth. We set out to become one of the most trusted.

Our philosophy has been simple: stock products we'd proudly drink ourselves, support passionate producers doing remarkable things and create a shopping experience where every customer feels welcome, whether they're picking up a Tuesday night wine or adding a special bottle to their cellar. 

Today, alongside our North Fremantle home, we've expanded to Como, grown our online store and built a community of customers who share our love of discovering great wine, craft beer and artisan spirits. While we've grown, the heart of Old Bridge Cellars hasn't changed. We're still family owned and fiercely independent.

Along the way, we're proud to have been recognised by industry awards, including Fremantle Chamber of Commerce 'Fremantle Business of the Year' 2022 and LSAWA 'Liquor Store of the Year' 2022. While those achievements mean a lot to us, nothing compares to earning the trust of our customers and introducing them to their next favourite bottle.

Our philosophy extends well beyond retail. Through regular tastings, wine dinners, educational courses and producer events, we love helping people discover something new and making wine approachable for everyone, regardless of their level of knowledge. We believe the best bottle isn't always the most expensive one, it's the one that creates a memorable experience around the table.
