The Royal Agricultural Society of WA Wine Awards, Western Australia’s most prestigious Wine Show which has been running since 1843, have just announced their 2024 winners and we have two exceptional multi-award-winning wines for you that we think deserve a spot in your cellar!
Driftwood Single Site Chardonnay 2023
🏅 Winner of Best Western Australian Wine, Best White Wine AND Best Chardonnay

Handpicked estate grapes, whole cluster pressed and wild fermented – this Chardonnay is an absolute showstopper! Expect complex layers of tart citrus, fresh white peach, quince paste, vanilla flower and crushed walnuts. On the palate, it’s creamy with citrus and stone fruit flavours, balanced by natural saline mineral acidity and the finest French oak. Normally $95 direct from the winery, we’re thrilled to offer this to our Old Bridge Cellars customers for $75 per bottle – or even better, $65 in a 6-pack!

Jim Barry Barry Brothers Shiraz 2021
🏅 Winner of Best Red Wine AND Best Shiraz

From one of the best vintages this century (if you follow your wine shows and vintage reports you would be well aware that the 2021 vintage in South Australia was one for the ages)! Crafted by Tom and Sam Barry from family-owned vineyards in Clare Valley, this medium-bodied Shiraz is everything we love to drink – bright red fruits, minimal oak and gentle tannins for a juicy, fresh experience. With aromas of dark fruits, lifted florals and hints of spice, it's bright and fresh on the palate with blue and blackberry flavours, violet undertones and a subtle spiciness from the oak. And the finish? Chewy tannins and dark chocolate notes. RRP $27.95, grab this gem for just $24 or $22 in a 6-pack!
