After such a successful event last year, we are again hosting the Oyster Shucking Masterclass in collaboration with Perth’s ‘King of Oysters’ Jerry Fraser and our favourite WA sparkling brand, Idée Fixe. Join us on Saturday 4th November from 11.30am – 1.30pm.
Perfect for the warmer weather inbound, you’ll enjoy a two-hour masterclass in our new events space…by Old Bridge, or BOB as we’ve affectionately nicknamed the space. Jerry will guide you in a hands-on session where you’ll learn to shuck the oysters yourself, eat as many as you like as well as hear about two species of oysters, pacific and rock.
Throughout the event you’ll be sipping on both Idée Fixe Premier Brut and Brut Rosé and will hear from the brand about the winemaking process and their exciting plans for a new Margaret River venue. There will be prizes on the day, you’ll even be able to purchase your own oyster knife so you can put your newfound skill to work at home!
After learning this skill ourselves at last year’s session, we’ve enjoyed freshly shucked oysters at many family events since.
A new element to the event this year, we will be launching a BRAND NEW HOT SAUCE with Agent 80 which we've had specially made to be the 'Ultimate Oyster Hot Sauce'. Bound to be a new go-to in your condiment cupboard!
